How are you different now than when you started 6th grade?
How is that even going to help?
Maybe try cleaning up!
A success that I have had was getting straight A's. This was a hard achievement since I had to maintain my A's and barely understood new subjects so I worked hard and ending up gettting an award for my straight A's.
What would you do differently this year?
Obstacles that I had overcome is laziness and being messy. I used to be so messy to the point where I was to lazy to clean up after myself and had trouble finding my work so sometimes I would turn in late assignments.
How has AVID played a role in any of these changes?
Well, some people say Earth is flat...
Is Earth flat or round?
If I compared myself right now to myself when I started 6th grade there would be many differences. When I started 6th grade I was unorganized and wasn't responsible enough to turn in assignments on time. Now, me right now I take responsibility of my actions, turn in assignments on time, and am respectful.
Something I would do differently this year is to study a few days before a test starts. I would say this because every time I would have a test I would study the day before it started even when I didn't understand anything I was learning in class. If I did understand the subject in my class though I wouldn't study.
Hmmm. I don't get this.
AVID has helped me in these changes because it has helped me understand subjects in school that I didn't understand until I had to study them a day before a test. Also, it helped me keep myself organized so it could be easier for me to do my work. It also helped me maintain my good grades with the help of TRF's!
