Next was the Quartering act passed by British Parliament. It forced American people to house, feed and clothe British soldiers. This made them even more upset cause they didn't have a choice and were running out of money. (Imagine if your mom forced you to wash the dishes, and not buy you any toys; this would anger you.)This made things get even worse between the British and Americans.
Maybe what my father's doing is wrong.....

Soon after, my dad passed the Stamp Act. This meant any paper Americans bought had a tax on it. Such as documents, newspapers, etc. (Imagine if you had to pay extra for a happy meal because of the toy but the toy is apart of the happy meal). This act was to raise money for British Soldiers but this angered Americans even more "taxation without representation".
Taxation without representation: being forced to pay extra without having a say in how government is ran.

Next was the Townshend Act, this put taxes in everything such as tea, glass, paper, and paint. This act was created to help pay British royals more money. This is where Americans began to boycott and not buy anything taxed. The tensions escalated and it led to the Boston massacre.
