- Boreas was the god of winter and wind
- but he was a trickster, and liked to bring cold early

- One day he decided that he wanted to prank Poseidon and take his trident.
- He had icicles for hair and wings that looked like snow
- While they ate Boreas tells Poseidon that a nearby village has had a drought
- This did not always please Zeus. He was banished from mount Olympus
- After they ate Poseidon bent over on his hands and knees to start the storm
- So, he invited Poseidon over to his mountain and they ate lunch
- he pushed Poseidon down the mountain and he stumbled into a roll
- Poseidon would have to summon a storm and save the village
- Boreas flew over and took the trident
- by the time he reached the bottom Poseidon was just a donut of snow.
