LCD is a display that stands for liquid crystalline display it uses liquid crystals to angle the colours at the screen
how about OLED
so the crystals angle the light to make you see the colour
yes that is how it works
so now you know about the types of displays you will understand that the displays are made of thousands of pixels these pixels are controlled by the the graphics card to know how high to power each colour as there 3 colours in a pixel the prime colours red green and blue. the highest intensity is 255 on each colour and 0 is the lowest if none are on and all are on it will be a grey scale image as 255 of all the colours is white and 0 of all is black as it is all black and white the image will look grey ,white and black this is why it got the name grey scale
OLED or Organic Light Emitting Diode has a similar design to the LED but they have a organic film that makes the design easier to make and can be made smaller so you can fit more pixels in a display and your resolution can be better
ohh so the OLED is like a normal LED but it is made with a organic film instead of glass
