- Indigenous people were put into separate homes and kept away from each other, for years they stayed like this, until they were put on reserves by the Europeans.
- Indigenous children were taken away from their families and brought to residential schools, only to have their nationality taken away from them.
- Indigenous children were forced to learn English, sleep together, and could never speak their first language, doing so would give them a punishment
- Your language is bad.

- Indigenous people were later let out of their school to live on reserves with family, not being able to leave, and only able to marry another Indigenous person.
- Indigenous people had a status card to leave their reserve for a while, or buy things out of town, so they could live without many rules, but still a few in their lies, and Indigenous kids were able to live with their parents after graduating residential school.
- After more years of living apart, two colonies came together to form a treaty, a treaty is when two groups come together and agree to make peace, trade, and give supplies to each other.
