- To let King George know the colonies were officially breaking away and forming there own country.
- Unalienable rights are rights that cannot be taken away. The three unalienable rights are Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness.
- All men are created equal. The goverment protects the rights of the people.
- For cutting off trade with all parts of the world. This means there not aloud to trade anymore.
- for imposing taxes on us without our consent. This means if they don't pay any taxed they shouldn't be represented.
