This explains why you didn't feel any pain, the nerves themselves were damaged
There are multiple ways to treat these burns, and they all start by cleaning and removing dead skin and tissue
The most effective form of treatment is grafting, where some of your skin from other parts of your body is surgically attached to cover a wound
Now I know to be more careful around things that could seriously burn me!
