- Betty wakes from her coma and tries to fly out of the window but Abigail stops her

- Abigail finds John and tries to meet him in private to leave Elizabeth.
- You'll be clapped in the stocks before you're twenty.
- Rev. Hale arrives in the town of Salem to examine the witchcraft in the town and John helps him with his books
- Rev. Hale examines Betty as Rev. Parris and angered Abigail look on
- I shall not proceed unless you are prepared to believe me if I should find no bruise of Hell upon her
