Storyboard Text
- Ordinary World:
- Call to Adventure
- Refusing the Call
- Simba with his father, Mufasa, and the rest of his pride at Pride Rock.
- Crossing the Threshold
- Simba is called to adventure when his father is murdered by his uncle, Scar, being thrown off the cliff.
- Enemies
- Instead of facing the challenges, Simba runs away and meeting Timon and Pumba who teach him Hakuna Matata.
- Return Home
- After Nala finds Simba, he debates if he should come back home to help his pride or stay with Timon and Pumba. In the end, he chose to go back to Pride Rock and face the truth and Scar.
- Simba must face Scar, who murdered his father in cold blood. Simba then defeats Scar throwing him off of Pride Rock into a pit of fire and hyenas, similar to Scar's murder of Mufasa.
- After the defeat of Scar, Simba becomes the true leader of the pride rock.
