I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal."
"...when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"
AND WE WILL BE FREE!!!
WE ARE EQUAL!
WE SHALL OVERCOME
And tonight on channel 1 news we are mourning for the loss of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. he was shot and killed by James Earl Ray, new information about this horrible and emotional event for many coming up tonight.
Yes truly this is a very emotional event and completely unbelieveable. Afterall MLK did to end driscrimnation and segregation once and foralll.
MLK showed much perseverance throughout the civil rights movement. Some of us in this school wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him.
Learning about MLK had taught us much about equality and non violence.
A lot would be different, just because of the color of our skin.
I am thankful for MLK.
We are standing write were MLK was standing when he made his speech!
This is amazing and has impacted so many lives!
While writing the speech you can tell MLK was trying to end rasicim, during the civil rights movement.
Thank you Dr. Martin Luther King Jr
