- In 1862 Abraham Lincoln signed the Homesteading Act where Americans can get free land in the west if they make it a farm. This made many Americans happy.
- Look at all this land we get, we can build our own farm and have a good life.
- Wow, that was a great comic book. So Manifest Destiny was a dream and nightmare. To the native americans it was a nightmare because the whites were invading their land. However to the whites it was a dream because they got land and money.
