- As Robespierre rises to power. The Reign of Terror begins.

- July 28, 1794 Robespierre is executed publically in a guillotine ending the 5 years of the Reign of Terror

- So, do we all agree Napoleon Bonaparte should be first consul, based on his sucesses in battle for the french?
- As first consul, Napoleon Bonaparte won battles by improving the millitary with better communication, food, and medical services.
- That was great, we won the Battle of Marengo and drove the Austrians out of Italy
- Yeah! That little man Napoleon is great, he was improved the military so much.
- In 1804, Napoleon Bonaparte ends the French republic and crowns himself emperor of France at the Cathedral of Notre Dame, Paris
- I, Napoleon Bonaparte crown myself as emperor of France
