- I hear you Maddy, however, you must listen to your mother.
- No Maddy, you have a very weak immune system and must NEVER go outside.
- Mother, may I go outside just for a second?
- I want something other than reading books
- Maddy is bored at home and wants to go outside. She is quickly shut down by her mother and her caretaker, Carla because of her rare condition called SCID.

- Who is that handsome boy?
- Hello there, I brought food for Maddy, we have moved in recently. May I come in and greet her?
- I appreciate your kindness, but you mustn't come in.
- The next-door neighbor moves in and tries to greet Maddy and her mother. He gets shooed away, unable to meet Maddy and give her his home-made food.

- Olly, I want to run away with you to Hawaii.
- are you sure maddy? this is risky
- Yes, I am sure, I want to be with you.
- i don't know about this it might be dangerous for you
- I am fine on my own.
- alright fine lets go
- Maddy wants to run away with Olly to Hawaii because of her mother's cruel rules. Olly hesitates but gives in afterwards.
