- Odysseus was very fearless when him and his men had arrived on the land. He was the one leading his men onto the land because it was hid word and he was the one in charge,
- Odysseus says he has a gift for the Cyclops after getting him drunk and giving him gifts and stabs him in the eye to buy him and his men some time to think of a escape plan.
- Odysseus had gotten his men out by having them hid under sheep's. They had succeeded and escaped back to the ship safely and started to sail off.
