Poland's ruling Law and Justice party (PiS) is described as a conservative party, committed to holding back the traditional values of Poland.
Its goal is to take control of the Polish judiciary in open defiance of the law and also the constitution which also contain the courts .

As Poland's nationalism is getting much stronger, the tension with the EU (European Union) is also increasing. The EU doesn't agree with this protesting. Polish nationalists think that the EU should be a way for trading but it shouldn't control their values.
