- Are you okay Fortunato?
- We shall continue then.
- During the carnival in Italy, Montresor runs into Fortunato, and offers share a nice a bottle of wine. However, this bottle is his catacombs. It is late at night and Fortunato seems ill.
- Montresor wants to have pay back on Fortunato and wants revenge. His plan is to tell Fortunato that ha has a cask of Amontillado and told him he didn't know if it was Amontillado or not so he could taste it, but in reality he wants to trap him down in his catacombs.
- Montresor tells Fortunato that he has a cask of Amontillado. Fortunato follows him to his home where none of workers were there because Montresor told them that he would leave overnight.
