- Hi. I am a crab. I am sad because this HUMAN is building on my land!
- Glida: 2
- "It's been weeks! Weeks!!! Yet he is still here."
- Glida: 3
- "I think I'll just go down to the ocean."
- Glida: 4
- "It’s beautiful down there."
- Glida: 5
- "I love the feeling and smell of the ocean mist, and the warmth of the air!"
- Glida: 6
- "In the summer, mist feels like tiny ice droplets on my face, and the warmth of the air is a special treat after digging all day."
- Glida: 7
- "Might as well dig a hole, I mean, I guess I am great at digging holes!"
- Glida: 8
- "While I am digging, I run into more and more holes! Turns out that there are just more holes that crabs have dug."

- "Since I’m very tired from all of my digging, I plan my hibernation."

- Five Weeks Later

- "Ahh! What a great sleep! As I go outside, it is much warmer than before I went to sleep."

- "As I gather some food, I look out on to the horizon, and I think I’m going crazy because all of the water started to drain from the shore!"

- "Now I think I see a huge wave coming towards me! I watch the water drain more and more, as my claws dig into the sand, I can't help but think something is wrong and then-BOOM! It hit me! Literally hit me!"

- "A huge wave had slammed up against my body as though I was being pinned to a wall. As I sank down into the water, my vision seemed to fade more and more. Then, everything went black…"

- "I’ve just woken up and I am in desperate need of air."
- Glida: 17
- "While I am very weak and tired, I quickly swim up to the surface, gasping for air."

- "Since the water is so high, I decided to climb up onto the highest thing I could climb on to take a good look at things. When I finally get to the top, I look out into the city, and it is completely destroyed. I plop back into the water."
