- Daredevil Goblins having heterozygous or homozygous dominant trait for red skin allows them to blend in with the red sky, most Daredevil Goblins born with long horns usually die as children because predators can easily find see them yet, a small amount is protected through their childhood until they are able to defend themselves.
- One day a storm caused some Daredevil Goblins to find shelter in a cave when the rocks separated them from the other Daredevil Goblins and trapped them in a cave.
- The population of Daredevil Goblins was divided by the rocks between the beach and the cave. There was the same amount of diversity in both the gene pools of the Daredevil Goblins living on the beach and the ones trapped in the cave.
- Goblins with red eyes can see better in the dark, their extra claw gives them a better grip on the rocky terrain, their grey skin helps them blend in with the cave walls, and their large horns help them defend themselves against predators. Their dark environment selects for these traits giving goblins with these traits greater fitness than the other goblins in the cave.
- Only the goblins that had selected traits survived in the cave only allowing goblins with red eyes, grey skin, long horns, and four toes to survive in this environment.
