- You're crazy!!!
- This strange girl told Montag about how she likes to think for herself and sit outside to admire the people and nature. She also told him her name was Clarisse and she was 17 years old. When Montag arrived home she asked him one final question. The question was "are you happy?".
- My name is Clarisse, I'm 17 and love to talk to others, think, and go outside,
- At first Montag was quite sure he was happy. But with second thought he found he truly wasn't. He felt as if something was missing.
- Am I happy? Of Course I am!!! What a silly question.
- Montag woke up later then usual.
- I don't feel well..Mildred go fetch the medicine.
