- king Lear was getting old and wanted to spend the rest of his old age visiting his children. So one day he announces that he will devide the kingdoms into 3.
I devide the kigdome into 2 equal halfs and hand hand it over to Goneril and Regan.

- As to win the most part of the kingdoms both Goneril and Regan flatter the king with there kind and loving words. -
-The king had high expectations from his youngest daughter thinking that she would flatter him with love the most out of all the 3 daughters but as Cordelia didn’t express fake love through her words the king got very angry, therefore he devides the kigdome amongst Goneril and Regan. -
