We are very proud to be a part of the Incas. The Incas are known to be the most powerful empire in the Americas. My husand is in the Incas military, another thing we take much pride in. My children and I live here in Cusco, Peru, the capital of the Incas.
Worshiping the Sun God
As our town gets more and weaker, there is talk around the empire of attacks. Our military and government are suffering, making it a great time to stike. In addition, having many more mummified bodies is dangerous because mummies are seen as the ultimate trophy during battles, along with the riches buried with them.

Legacy of the Incas
When times get tough I like to take my family to our temple to pray. I can't bear to lose my husband or the home we love. Since it is Inti Raymi(June), the month in honor of the sun god, we learn onceagain about our ancestors, the sons and daughters of the sun god,who searched for years looking for land to please the sun staff.
News spread that in 1532, the Sapa Inca, Atahualpa, was met by European intruders. The European inanders were vastly out numbered, but the Incas had never seen such mature technology as the European guns and their horses. The empire had fallen to peices, finally at an end. Most of us natives fled to safety.
When the European conquerors explored our hometown of Cusco, they were amazed by how beautiful it truly was. It is incredible that the founders of the Incas were able to make such complex structures and farming techniques on such rough terrain, also without the use of wheels, horses, and a language.
