- Today we will be learning about The Cell and Inheritance.According to the chromosome theory of inheritance,genes are carried from parent to their offspring on chromosomes.
- Now we should know that each cell normally contains 23 pairs of chromosomes, for a total of 46.Chromosomes are made up of many genes joined toghther like beads on a string

- Type of hair( wavy,curly,ect)
- Good question! Chromosomes controlle genes.You ave about 20,000 to 25,0000 in your body.
- What do Chromosomes do?
- Meiosis ( Not to be confused with Mitosis) is the process that the number of chromosomes is reduced by 1/2 to form sex cells.
- During Meiosis, the chromosome pairs separate and are distributed to 2 different cells.The resulting cells have only 1/2 of the chromosomes
