- Sleeping well gives you lots of energy so you can run around all day!

- Getting enough sleep can also help you to think hard in school, and help you do well too!
- Hmmm...

- Can you guess how many hours of sleep you need every night??
- I know! it's 10 hours!

- Why's that?
- That's a LOT of hours! But it's super important for your body!

- Oh no!
- Ouch my hand!!
- Well... Just in case you get hurt!
- Glida: 7
- When you go to sleep, that's when your body heals the fastest!

- Woah! My hand feels a lot better!!
- Exactly! Sleeping helps your body grow and heal so you can become big and strong!

- But... What happens if i can't get to sleep?
- That's a good question! Well, we will take a look at a few techniques to do when you can't sleep!

- One super important thing you can do is stay off of devices, like an iPad or phone at least 2 hours before bed!

- How many of you put your technology away and hour or two before bed? No lying!

- Breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 4 and out for 4. (4x4x4)
- *Whisper* And you can also do some breathing techniques! Like box breathing

- Why don't you guys give it a try??
- Remember! Breathe in for 4 seconds, then hold for 4 seconds and breathe out for 4 seconds. Don't do it too fast, you'll loose your breath too quickly!

- There are so many reasons why sleep is important for you, but there are too many to talk about for this book!
