Good morning, class! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Today, we're going to practice using the past continuous tense. I'm going to ask each of you what you were doing over the weekend. Remember to answer in the past continuous tense. Let's start with Sarah. What were you doing on Saturday afternoon?
Great! Now, Tom, what were you doing on Saturday morning and Saturday afternoon?
Um... I like adventure and mystery books...on Saturday afternoon, I was watching a adventure and mystery books after I did every homework

I was playing soccer with my friends at the park on Saturday morning, and in afternoon, my friend called me while I was watching soccer on TV.

I spent most of my weekend painting in my room. On Saturday morning, while it was raining, I was watching news, and in the evening, I was starting drawing new picture, but my best friend called and I had to stop.

Well, on Saturday morning while my parents were shopping, I was doing homework with my friend from school. We got it all done! Then, on Sunday, I was playing video games with my friends while my mom was cooking dinner.
