- How are you doing today class? Are you guys ready for a day of learning! We will be having a lockdown later to practice safety procedures so we know what to do in case of an emergency
- My boy Alfredo already told me we were having this, hopefully we aren't going to just hide in a corner.
- Well Tiki, that is indeed what we will be doing. What do you expect everyone to do? Run for their lives? That would be chaotic and make us easy targets but staying hidden and locking the doors will prevent anyone from coming in.
- What if, like the Columbine shootings the shooters use bombs? What then? Or in another shooting where most of the wounded were shot through the wall they were sitting down next to.
- That is a good point, but in those shootings. Fortunately the bombs were homemade and did not do damage to people but in that situation I agree that our procedure would fail. There is no indefinite and easy solution.
