His determination is evident, and the panel could show him eventually strangling the lion, his muscles bulging as he overpowers it.

Scene 2: The Lernaean HydraLabor 2: Hercules must slay the multi-headed Hydra.The Hydra, with its many heads, is attacking from all sides. Each time Hercules chops off one head, two more grow in its place. He holds his club, looking both frustrated and determined. Iolaus (his nephew) could be helping by burning the stumps where the heads were severed to prevent new ones from growing.

Scene 3: The Ceryneian HindLabor 3: Hercules must capture the golden-horned Ceryneian Hind.Hercules is chasing the swift hind through a forest, jumping over rocks and streams.
