The men shoot at the T-rex, and Eckel began running back to the machine, but he steps outside the path.
When Eckles gets back he accidentally stepped on a butterfly while running to the machine and Travis noticed and he gets mad.
Eckle noticed there was a difference when they returned home and so did Travis. So Travis kills Eckle after he finds out Eckle changed the future.
