Storyboard Text
- Grendel's mother arose from the whale-road to capture Beowulf who has killed her son.
- Grendel's mother attacks and clutches onto Beowulf and carries him. As he tries to free his sword but fails.
- Let me go!
- Beowulf realizes that the water's heat could not harm him and nothing in the lake can harm him. He swings his sword to her head.
- As Beowulf fights hard he discovers no light-of-battle can slice her evil. They start to wrestle as she rips, tear, claws at him, and even bites holes in his helmet
- The fight gets more intense Beowulf tosses his sword aside. They continue to fight and he throws her unto the ground.
- Grendel's mother rose up as he tried to leap on her. She began to claw and tearing him his feet stumbled and he fell.
