Grandpa! I'm not sure whether I should own social media at my age. I don't understand it at all. I see these people always saying mean comments on this one person.
Nonsense! You are perfectly well at that age to own social media. All you need to do is learn a few things. The situation you encountered is called cyber bullying. It is when someone online intentionally insults another online and bullies them. 
For the cyber bullying problem, you could send a positive text to that person to make their day better. You also should control how long you are using social media. A decent amount would be an 1 or 2 a day. You should never spend too much time on social media. If you want, I could help supervise and help you through this journey.
I think I'll do well on my own. I believe I have the power to control myself when it comes to social media. I'm only going to use it for good purposes and never cyber bully. If I can do this, I'll try helping my friends and other people on the awareness of cyber bullying and social media usage.
