However, photosynthesis is not the only way that organisms receive their energy. By using some of the oxygen I produce, my friends Beatrice and Beau are able to harness their energy through cellular respiration!
With the help of Sebastion the Sun, carbon dioxide, and water, I'm able to make the glucose and oxygen I need to feed myself!

Ultimately, some of the carbon dioxide produced by mammalsduring cellular respiration gets back to me. All of us organisms in an ecosystem rely on one another. We are a team!
Sebastion helps to start the process of photosynthesis, and oxygen produced by this process is used by mammals, and us plants, for cellular respiration. That's right! Plants respirate too!
