- Steve, Charlie, Don, and Pete, are all on maple street one day going by their lives. Some washing cars, some doing yardwork, some inside watching television or making a nice dish of food.
- Climax
- Sunddenly, a large flash of light occours in the sky, people look up all around, very confused. Suddenly the power in every house goes out. People try and get in cars to leave, but the cars wont work, and it seems all devices are not working. Pete decides to cut into the next neighborhood to see if they are having power problems also.
- Falling action
- Steve and don decide to go into town but before long a strange 14 year old named Tommy goes up to them and starts warning them. HE says that the flash of lights was aliens and that 1 family in the neighborhood is aliens. So they begin blaming random people who have something suspicious going on like flickering lights in their house, or being able to start their car.
- Resolution
- It is now later at night and harder to see in the dark, Don gets a gun with the intent to kill the supposed family that is full of aliens, but Charlie has other plans and wrips it out of his hands. Suddenly, a mysterious figure comes downthe street, so Charlie shoots them because they think that its the alien person.
- But it is actually Pete returning from the neighborhood over! Charlie has now shot and killed Pete, and the whole neighborhood goes into a frantic craze. Everyone is blaming someone else, and then they are blaming the other person, it is pandamonium!
- In a few moments, a shot of aliens talking to each other comes into veiw. The alien says that the neigborhood can destroy itself without them interfereing, and this is how they can take over the world.
