- You are late again. I did put the effort to be here on time.
- I'm sorry. I did try to be here on time, but my boss kept me five minutes longer than expected.
- Five minutes? Then why are you almost forty minutes late? Do you have an explanation for that?
- I do have an explanation: you are wrong! It's just six minutes past 7:30.
- Glida: 2
- What do you mean I'm wrong? We said we would meet at 7:00.
- We did agree on 7:30 at first, but I sent you a message about six hours ago asking to change the time. You just never pay attention to me.
- I do pay attention to you, but I was at work. I didn't get a chance to check my phone. It was just a really busy shift.
- Glida: 3
- No, we didn't. Luckily for me, we did agree over text this time. Look, here's the message.
- Oh, I do get that. I just didn’t expect the message to go unnoticed for so long.
- I know. I guess I should have made sure the original plan was still on.
- I did make a mistake too by not making sure you had read my message.
- The important thing is we do get to spend time together now. I've got so much to tell you about my crazy day at work.
