- Tell them to fire!
- Santa Anna decides to march back to Texas in the winter instead of the spring so he can try to surprise the Texans
- Sound the alarm!
- Santa Anna hangs a red flag from a near church which means "no quarter" or no mercy
- I shall never surrender or retreat. Victory or Death. - signed William B. Travis
- The Texans fire a cannonball shot in response
- I have become ill and cannot fight. I handed over my command to William B. Travis
- Daniel Cloud sounds the alarm and and Mexican soldiers fire from all directions
- William B. Travis writes his famous victory or death letter to the nearest town called Gonzales
- Jim Bowie becomes ill and cannot fight. He hands over his commands to William B. Travis.
