The bad men thought of getting Daniel in trouble so Daniel won't be King Daruis's favourite person in the village. Because it made the men Jealous and mad.But they couldn't think of anything to get Daniel in trouble because he wasn't doing anything bad to make the King upset or mad.Daniel was doing everything correctly and it made the King happy and pleased.
Let's get Daniel in trouble
Daniel would prey to God every day. He was a Christain and loved God. The bad men didn't know that Daniel preyed to God and no body knew. Daniel would be happy to always talk to God.

Daniel was still impressing the King and they were both happy.
Daniel came back to prayed the net day and didn't know that the bad men were outside his house. The bad men were passing by and were still trying to find out how to get Daniel in trouble until... they saw Daniel praying. That's when they thought of their plan.
The bad men told King Darius that there should be a new law where everyone has to pray to the Darius and only Darius. Whoever doesn't obey the law then they will get thrown into the lions den. The king agreed with making the new law.
