- Rome before the Punic wars. Rome was a Republic Governemnt
- Carthage before the Punic Wars. They were part of the Phoneacian Colony
- The first Punic War was between Rome and Carthage was on sea. Rome used bridges to get on to Carthage’s ships and attack them.
- Hannibal Barca took Elephants through Spain into the Alps so that Carthage can attack Rome from the north. Rome sent General Scipio to Zama.
- Rome laid siege to Carthage and to all the survivors they either sold them as a slave or kept the as a slave.
- Rome won the Punic Wars and gained a lot more land. Also the farmers had to go fight so they didn’t pay any attention farmland. Their farmland got destroyed by the Carthinigians especially in the second Punic War
