- I fear the people of rome will chose Caesar.
- Why should Caesars name be more known than yours?
- Hes not dangerous Caesar, dont worry
- He thinks too much, such men are dangerous.
- Caesar ignores the warnings of the soothsayer. It is important because this was the first time the foreshadowing of something to Caesar being introduced.
- Cinna you will take this paper and put it where Brutus will find it
- Brutus shows his concerns about Caesar being named king to Cassius. Cassius then tries to get him to join his side. This is important because it was introduced that Brutus, a cherished person in Rome, showed hesitation about Caesar being appointed King.
- Caesar shows concern about Cassius but Antony reassures him that they are not. This is important because this gave Caesar the impression that Cassius wasn't plotting against him.
- Cassius meets with Casca and Cinna to make a plan to get Brutus on their side. This event was important because it was the start of the conspirators trying to win Brutus over to their side.
- Brutus wa/ awake all night debating on whether or not to kill Caesar for Rome. He then received a letter that said that people like him more than Caesar. This event was important because it showed that Brutus was willing to kill Caesar.
- The conspirators arrive at Brutus' house. The conspirators show their concerns with Caesar and how corrupt he will be. The conspirators convince Brutus to join them to help kill Caesar. This event was important because Brutus was finally on the conspirator's side and now the plan is set.
