- We pronounce sentence, we declare that you, Galileo Galilei, by details of the matters in this trial, have rendered yourself in the judgement of this holy office.
- You have also held and believed an adoption to matters which are false, that the sun is at the centre of the world and does not move, that the world is NOT at the center of the world and DOES move.
- You know have one and only one chance for redemption. Kneel down and state your woes.
- I Galileo Galilei curse and detest any errors that have been assumed of me.
- As of your response to this chance of redemption, you will be sentenced house arrest. Guards, take him away.
