- The lion was trapped by hunters.

- The mouse chewed the ropes to set the lion free from the trap.
- The mouse said, "I told you I would be able to help."
- Moral: Little friends can be great friends.
- The lion was going to eat the mouse. The mouse made a deal to help the lion if the lion would let him live.
