- Hello Imam Malik!
- Hi kids, I'm Imam Malik and welcome to our Mosque!
- This is so cool!
- Here, men gather for prayer every Friday at noon while reading from our special book, the Qur'an
- That's so interesting!
- In Islamic faith, we believe there is one God and His name is Allah.
- Muslims must pray five times a day facing Mecca, the birthplace of Muhammed, the Prophet and Messenger of Allah.
- I know all about Ramadan! My family just finished fasting. I can't wait to join them when I'm old enough. I'm Muslim!
- Muslims also part-take in a sacred ritual of Ramadan where they fast during the day to spiritually connect with Allah.
- Many Muslim girls, like you Faiza, wear traditional garments like hijabs to maintain modesty and respect for Allah.
- After the students visited the Church, they thanked Father John and went on their way to visit the local Mosque. Once they arrived, they met with Imam Malik who is one of the worship leaders at the mosque. Imam Malik wore a long beige tunic known as a thobe.
- Hello students, welcome to our Temple. My name is Hanh and I am a Buddhist monk.
- Hello Hanh!
- Buddhists believe in the teachings of a man named Buddha. Buddha is not considered a god, but a man who was spiritually awoken and enlightened.
- What did Buddha teach?
- Faiza started squealing as she jumped up and down. She had never understood before why her family was fasting or why she had to wear her hijab. But now, Faiza was excited and loved wearing her beautiful hijab.
- Buddha taught the Three Universal Truths that stated life is constantly changing and owning things won't make you happy.
- Buddhist often practice meditation to develop a calm and positive state of mind.
- I follow Buddha's teachings and practice meditation with my family! I'm a Buddhist.
- Soon after, the children said bye to Imam Malik and went on their way to a nearby Buddhist Temple. Upon arrival, the students met with Buddhist monk Hanh who wore an orange robe.

- After talking with Hanh, Banko was so excited to be a Buddhist. He couldn't help but share his excitement with his friends.
