- Hi I'm Jeffrey! I'm 15 years old and live in Indianapolis. A few days ago I noticed a lump on my left testicle. I've been having pain in that are so I'm at the doctor to have it checked out.
- Oh no! Am I going to die? How can I treat this? What can I do? Why did this happen?
- After running a blood test and an ultrasound I've come to the conclusion that you have testicular cancer.
- Doing things like eating healthy and getting exercise will also help you! You are also at a higher risk because of your age and race.
- Don't worry Jeffrey you'll be fine! There is a 99.98% chance of survival. Chemotherapy looks to be your best option for treatment.
- I'm back at the hospital for my first session of chemotherapy. This session should take about an hour. I have a sweet playlist to get me through it.
- I'm home after my first session. I feel achy and tired. Hopefully the therapy can cure me.
- 9 months later
- My doctor says I need to keep doing self checkups on my area. I'm also still eating healthy and exercising.
- After several rounds of chemo my cancer is in remission! I'm feeling great and back to playing my favorite game.
