- When Jesus heard that John had died, he left in a boat and went to a sad and lonely place by himself. The people followed him there by land. When Jesus saw all the people, he felt sorry for them and he healed them.
- it is already very late, and this is a lonely place. Send the people away and let them go and buy food for themselves
- They do not have to leave. You give them something to eat! you do not have enough so bring them to me.
- He told the people to sitdown on the grass; then he took the food and gave thanks to God. He broke thebread and gave it to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. Everyoneate and they had leftovers! The number of men who ate the food was about 5000!(not including the children and the women)
