The technique that is being used is a low angle shot which is having the camera look up at Orson Welles, playing Kane, which makes him look huge.I believe that the reason that they did a low angle shot in this very scene is to show the power and significance that Kane holds within the community
The technique used is the Long take which is sually a scene made up of several different shots edited together. The reason that I think they chose a long take is to show how oblvious Kane is to him being put up for adoption while he is in the snow having a good time.
The technique that is used in this scene is a Montage which is editing several shots together to show a lot of information quickly. I believe that a montage was used to show in a sense how the couple was slowly drifting apart and not being as interactive or feeling the same anymore.
