- Seals spend much of their life in water, but they mate, give birth to babies and take care of them on the shore. Thick fur and blubber offer protection against freezing temperatures.
- They are in danger Because hunters from killing pups that have yet to grow out of their white coat, like this baby's. Also Harp seals aren't endangered, but melting ice because of climate change is killing pups.
- We can remove fishing hooks. We vaccinate seals.We remove marine debris. We free trapped seals.
