- Soda ran away from the house. Darry and Pony chase after him at the park. Soda told them he just can't stand anymore because he always brag in the middle and torn from one side to the other.
- Darry and Pony never thought that about how their fighting can hurt Soda's feeling. Soda told them to fighting anymore. They all agree that they should stick together and take care of each other.
- Ponyboy found the book Gone With The Wind and a note from Johnny about the poem Nothing Gold Can Stay that Johnny wrote was really meant.Pony can remember Johnny and Dally's death. so he decided to tell the story for the theme of his English task
