This battle started from the war between the Texians and Mexicans. The leader of Mexicans was Santa Anna, and the leader of the Texians was Stephen F. Austin. It last for 13 days. "Remember the Alamo!" February 23, 1836 through March 6, 1836
Battle of San Jacinto
The convention met on March 1, 1836 and wrote the Texas Declaration of Independence. Sam Houston was elected Commander in Chief for the land army.
Treaty of Velasco
Was the first battle of the Texas Revolution and was over a cannon that they could not get back. "Come and take it" was the flag. October 2, 1835
Faught on April 21, 1836 and as led by Sam Houston and the Texians won in 18 minutes of fights. "We must conquer or perish!"
These treaties wee signed by General Santa Anna and the Republic of Texas on May 14, 1836.
