- The Invasion of South Korea from North Korea had happened on June 24, 1950. North Korea thought the invasion would reunite the country as one again
- OH NOO!!

- 3 days later Truman the president of the United States decided to aid South Korea by sending air and naval support to help them out
- I want troops with air and naval support to help out South Korea
- On September 15, 1950U.S. Marines force made a surprise water landing at the strategic port of Inchon on the west coast of Korea, about "100 miles south of the 38th parallel and 25 miles from Seoul."
- On November 4th, 1950 The Chinese had taken sides with the North Koreans. Them joining pushed back United Nations back across 38 street and was able to capture Southern Capitol of Seoul. "The Chinese were fearful that the United Nations forces would remain in North Korea and pose a threat to China."
