- Here in Athens the Duke is always greeted by Egeus
- Lysander and Hermia run away to the woods after they hear that Hermia has to marry Demetrius or she will be killed
- A group of actors which call them selves 'The mechanicals' are practicing a play
- Oberon tries to annoy his wife by making one of the fairies go collect pansy juice
- Oberon accidentally put the juice eon Lysander and Demetrius. They both fall in love with Helena
- Everything returns to normal. Lysander and Hermia in love, Demetrius loves Helena not Hermia
