Yeah...I haven't been able to play at all this year.
BAND
Why don't we have any instruments to play on?
And why haven't we been able to put on a play?
We haven't done anything in this class all year.
The school board finds us more important than you.
MATH
SCIENCE
The school puts all of its money into core classes so that students get better test scores.
English
When students get better scores in core classes, the state gives the school more money.
ART
What are we supposed to do? We don't have any supplies.
How are our students supposed to be creative if we don't have anything that they can use?
PRINCIPLE
My hands are tied. We don't have any more money in the budget.
CHOIR
So you are saying that we are supposed to do nothing in our classes because we can't afford to buy music? Are we that unimportant?
You have to figure out how to teach without spending money.
But you also can't use any money to buy anything for your classes.
GUITAR CLASS
At this point we may as well just get rid of the music and art classes.
