- After school lets out, the friends Ella, Josephine, John and Marcus all meet up and talk about their day.

- Marcus leaves his friends to head off to work at the barber shop.

- Marcus arrives at work and greets one of his colleagues before he settles down and gets ready for his first client.

- His colleague interrupts him by telling his the boss wants to see him about something important.

- Marcus visits his boss and his boss confirms he indeed has news for Marcus and doesn't seen too happy about it.
- Goodbye..
- After getting the news, Marcus is speechless and his mind is racing thinking about all possibilities of everything.
- The barber shop is closing down and being demolished for a.. parking lot.
- On the way home after work, Marcus begins to wonder what his life will be like if his work gets shut down. He thinks about calling his friends and telling them.
- I should really call my friends.. I need them right now.
- After arriving home, Marcus sprints immediately to his phone to call his friends to come over so that he could tell them the news.
- Hey guys.. this is an emergency, please hurry over here.
- Marcus explains to them the news he'd previously gotten, and is told from Josephine and the others that they'd also gotten that same Information from their jobs too!
- Instead of being angry about it, the friends decide to reminisce on memories that were now going to be distant after realizing this is happening to a lot of businesses, clubs, homes, etc in Detroit and there's not much they could do about it.
