The business I will be starting soon is called Jones Family Trucking. JFC for short!
Why did you choose that business?
I chose this business because I've always had a love for traveling and heavy machinery! Another reason is the trucking industry is in a steady decline.
How do you plan on getting this business off the ground and up and running?
First I will attend CPCC and get a degree in diesel mechanics. After I graduate at 19 I will get a job as a diesel mechanic until I am 20-21 and save my money from that so I am able to buy my own truck.
What are your plans for opening the business?
When I turn 21 I will get my CDL's and buy my first truck, officially starting my business.
What are your future plans for your business?
I will continue to save as much as I can to buy another truck and put an employee in that truck. I will continue this process until I don't have to drive the trucks anymore and the business is working for me.
What inspired you to start this business?
My uncle inspired me to start this business because he is a truck driver. He will be the one training me on all the ins and outs of the trucking industry.
